Jon Stewart strikes at CNBC for it's reporting during the economic crisis. Stewart picks on Kramer in particular for giving bad predictions on companies like Bear Sterns, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch, all of which have tanked.
Stewart's argument is that you can still give accurate and reasonable predictions without sounding all doom and gloom. It takes something called careful research and analysis, which is something I would come to expect from someone working as an anchor for CNBC.
Cramer then discusses Jon Stewart's comments, which spurs a fury of criticism from Joe Scarborough. Cramer even tells Scarborough to lighten up because "he(Stewart) is a comedian." This only makes Scarborough even more upset.
'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart' is not an actual news outlet. Anyone who hasn't figured that out by now probably shouldn't be watching TV. The real genius behind 'The Daily Show' is that we can see how absolutely ridiculous and contradicting our media is. Without those who mock sensationalsit media for false reporting we would have no clue as to how bad today's "journalism" has gotten.
So, is Jon Stewart running out of people to pick on, or does Cramer actually deserve the criticism?
